In great damages, the pipe piece is cut and a new piece of pipe is put in between, and 2 pieces of FLEX sliding type BORFLEX clamping sleeves are applied to the joints of the old and new pipes.
LEAKING PROBLEM DUE TO USE ERRORS IN FLEX PRODUCTS1. The pressure is higher than the specified working pressure. Make sure that the pressure in the pipe does not exceed the given working pressure value.
2. If the clamp gasket is dirty and has been used without cleaning, make sure that the gasket grooves are clean.
3. Bolts were not tightened with equal torque value during assembly.
4. The clamp has been left in unfavorable storage conditions (for a long time under direct sunlight or in a non-dry environment) or the instructions for use were not followed during assembly, and sharp tools were used.
5. All these applications will cause the gasket to lose its physical properties, thus causing the clamp to leak.
6. The bolts connecting the mounting plate to the body may be loose. Please check. Make sure the bolts are tightened enough.
HORIZONTAL CRACK (between 10 and 40 cm)If the horizontal cracks are wider than 10 cm, BORFLEX clamping sleeves with WAFER gasket should be used. WAFER type BORFLEX clamp sleeves offer solutions for horizontal cracks up to 40 cm.

However, it should be noted that horizontal cracks will progress over time and the damage to the pipe will increase. For this reason, in order to get a definitive solution, the damaged pipe piece is cut and a new pipe piece is put in between, and 2 pieces of FLEX sliding type BORFLEX clamping sleeves are applied to the joints of the old and new pipes.
DIAMETER TOLERANCEWith FLEX sliding type and REP repair type BORFLEX clamping sleeves, there is a diameter tolerance of up to 3 mm during assembly.
With BORFLEX WAFER-EASY 10, there is a diameter tolerance of up to 10 mm during assembly. The product is very practical to use, thanks to its single-sided mounting advantage.
With BORFLEX WAFER-EASY 20, the diameter tolerance value increases up to 20 mm.
